On Friday 28 June Anne Milton MP met Chas Walker, John Slater (YMCA DLG Chair of the Board), Jason Stacey (YMCA England & Wales) along with YMCA Guildford’s Head of Operations Paul Napthine.
Anne has a long history with YMCA Guildford, and even slept out for Sleep Easy 2013. She toured The Bridge and The Bridge Kitchen, and heard about the training and employment opportunities available for young people. She also learned about YMCA Positive Placements and YMCA WiSE, and got an insight into the role played by Jessica, the new Skills Advisor.
This was followed by a tour of YMCA Guildford Foyer. Anne was very supportive of all that is going on and plans to visit again in October.
