Empty Homes
Empty Homes is a YMCA DownsLink Group scheme to bring empty properties in Sussex and Surrey back into use.
The aim of the Empty Homes scheme is to provide affordable and safe accommodation to young adults in housing need. We achieve this by leasing properties from private landlords and refurbishing them to a good standard. We are already in touch with young people who are looking for a housing solution, so we can easily find suitable tenants for the properties. We manage the lettings and deal with any issues that arise with the young tenant.
Landlords – make the most of your empty property
Do you have a property that has been empty for at least six months? Would you like to receive a guaranteed rental income from that property? And let YMCA DownsLink Group deal with the upkeep of the property and tackle any tenant issues? If the answer is yes, then we can negotiate a lease from you and let your property to young adults in housing need. Get in touch now!
